Welcome to the Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities (Stark DD) Website! 
Stark DD provides services from infancy onward to 
over 3,700 Stark County residents with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

The Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities Notice of Privacy Practices

This notice describes how medical information about you may be used and disclosed and how you can get access to the information.


School programs beginning with Early Intervention and Preschool, and continuing throughout the school-age years. For adults, Stark DD provides day habilitation programs and supported employment in the community. Senior citizens also benefit from specially designed programs that are integrated into the Stark community.

By leveraging federal, state and local funds, Stark DD also coordinates services for people with disabilities to live, work, and play in the community by organizing appropriate supports based on individual needs. In addition to a variety of programs, Stark DD also provides transportation throughout Stark County to more than 300 individuals, traveling more than one million miles annually.
